This is the leader protection knot I used recently when fishing at Singapore Pasir Ris Fishing Pond for Seabass.

I'm able to use 12lb OCEA FC leader with this knot and landed Seabass between 2-5kg without breaking the leader.

But the length of the protection wrap should be about 2 inches or longer.

This light leader helps me to cast lighter lure further with my Abu Revo LTZ .

The other one is the very much talk about FG knot. I use it during jigging most of the time. Same knot but different tying method.
